Here are some photographs of a mini album project I created with the latest Color Me Miki kit....'Ohana. :)
Love the warm colors in this kit...they all pop with the aqua colors in the cardstock ...the fabulous aqua canvas Thickers in the add-on kit.
The 'Ohana kit included an ENTIRE PACK of dark brown Jenni Bowlin Bingo cards.....so I sewed each of them onto a piece of the aqua cardstock. I am noticing that lately I really love to cut out bits and pieces of the ACTUAL PACKAGING and/or LABELS..hehe..of products to use in my work....Jenni Bowlin products have been particularly fun for that, and I cut apart the tiny examples of each bingo card from the insert within the pack so I could use them in my work.
I punched holes with my trusty crop-o-dile....and used silver book rings to hold it all together.
I placed the Scenic Route stickers onto a nice brown cardstock, and cut them out...leaving a bit of a chipboard edge to them....this gives the stickers a little more punch.
I stapled vintage-feeling cream ribbon onto several edges of the pages to create some soft "tabs", and then added buttons, velvet flowers, and other little embellishments.
I can hardly wait to fill this up with little photos from Thanksgiving! :)
