I had a fabulous time at the San Diego Scrap Inn this weekend...........honestly, I didn't get as much done as I usually do...but I did a lot of talking and I think that's pretty cool too! I even worked on a few things to put in my Etsy shop! ;)

Twelve hours of sheer bliss.....

....coming my way soon! Spending tomorrow at the San Diego Scrap Inn with my scrapping buddies. Making a huge mess on my table, C's expresso brownies, a Starbucks around the corner, plenty of diet coke, a swimming pool, and good friends. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....sheer bliss. :)

One of the cool things about Etsy.........

One of the first things I ever noticed about Etsy was the Customer Appreciation Photo......how cool is that little feature? Your customer (or you, if you are the customer) uploads a little photo or two showing what they created with your supplies...or perhaps your handcrafted item in action now that it's found a happy home.

Well, just the other day, I received my first Customer Appreciation Photo.......well, NO! It was actually TWO photos....needless to say, I was tickled PINK!

Mooseberry Hill Radio Show......We have a WINNER!

It's almost PuMpKiN PiCkinG time!!

.....and I've created a brand-new mini album with that in mind! "Pumpkin Patch" is full of rich autumn colors.....October Afternoon patterned papers.........3D embellishments and MORE!

I've also listed another scalloped mini album, "Someone to Watch Over Me", it turned out so sweet...I am loving the colors, I am not a huge fan of pastels, but the bright blue/teals hues in the K&Co patterned paper really brought out the soft pinks and other colors. PRETTY!!

I punched some scalloped tags from some really cool double-sided PAPER, and then I took those scraps and punched out flowers...talk about recycling! Check out all my new listings (whew!) in the shop! Thanks for stopping by my blog! Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

Stamping Kits!

I love putting together kits.....either going along with a theme, or just pulling out products by colors and textures....I have put together four fabulous stamping art kits...one for Christmas themes, one for Autumn/Fall themes or projects, one for all things that are PRETTY and PINK and GIRLY, and one that has a Friends theme featuring BLUE, ORANGE, and GREEN! I just listed one of my funky vintage finds......

....in the shop! Found this about a week ago, tucked away in the back of a trim shop.......it looked interesting, and I am quickly attracted to anything that is aqua or teal-colored. I was excited to find out it is a circa 1960s trim used in clothing and house decor.

So cool. I have it in a yummie apple green too, check it out at Little Red Cottage!

It's been a busy Etsy day for me! I've been working on uploading ribbon collections into the shop.

Sunlight!

I found my sunlight! I've been working on the photography of my items in the shop...and I think I found a great combo that WORKS! Bright sunlight and a nice, crisp white background.

Now, I am a little nervous because the coastal town in which I live is starting to be overcast, well into the morning and sometimes early afternoon hours........uh oh.

But in the meantime, I've retaken the photographs of three of my handmade mini albums--go check them out in my etsy shop! :)

The air is feeling crisper.....

....and I guess that is why I felt like creating something for the fall holiday season coming up,
scalloped Maya Road chipboard, paint, SEI Dill Blossom papers (yum!), 3D embellies, and I dusted off my sewing machine......felt so good to
hear that thing running again last night.........I won't mention how long it took me to refill the bobbin....where is my instruction manual?? Ha!......go check it out at the Little Red Cottage!

Wonderfully distracted.........

I left my cottage temporarily today and headed on over to my friend Terri's scrapbooking kit club, Color Me Miki, to work on layouts to show off her latest kit, "Recess". I LOVE THIS KIT!!! My mojo was flowing full speed with Cosmo Cricket's Jack's World papers....there is a bit of Dream Street, and a delicious piece of RED apple paper from Sassafras Lass, yummy Japanese doo-dads...weren't some of those fun things from the cooking section, Terri? Cute!......here is the first layout I completed today...I did two more, but will photograph them tomorrow.

Go over and check this kit out....there is only going to be the smallest of scraps left after I am done with this one!

A little sneak peek of what I'm currently working on!

Mmm.....wonder what these materials will end up being? Sunshine yellow fabric, vanilla paint, white buttons, sassy owls, blue flowers, and a kraft brown box?

Some of you local girls might find that this looks very familiar to you! I'm going back to an idea I had when I was part of an all-day crafting extravaganza at my local scrapbook store...and I'm pouring on the extra sweet goodness this time!
